Incredible India is an understatement! We spent 1 glorious, whirlwind, month in India that set our senses on fire! We flew into Kochin in Kerala, visited the Back Waters then traveled up north via Goa, Udaipur, Jaipur, Delhi, Agra, and then embarked upon the Buddhist pilgrim route to see the four most sacred sites of Buddha in the world: at Bodhgaya where he became enlightened under the Bodhi tree, at Sarnath where he gave his first teachings, in Kusinagara where he died and then over the border to Lumbini in Nepal where Buddha was born. This was not an easy route to follow but a magical journey nevertheless that we’d highly recommend. Blog post and video coming soon! We got to work with over 200 kids including with Goa Outreach teaching filmmaking to street and slum kids, then in Udaipur with the support of Tat Saraasa Spa & Resort, teaching photography to kids from the local school.

In Udaipur you can visit […]

Goa

Goa is a state in Western India where we helped Goa Outreach – a young organisation that helps improve the lives of street and slum kids – teaching them film-making which they loved! Goa was once a Portuguese colony, which is evident in some of its 17th-Century churches and architecture. Goa is famous for its […]

Agra is a city in northern India’s Uttar Pradesh state home to the infamous Taj Mahal: a mausoleum built for the Mughal ruler Shah Jahan’s wife, Mumtaz Mahal (who passed away during childbirth in 1631). Princess Diana was famously photographed seated in front of the Taj Mahal. Why not take a selfie there! The Taj […]
